Peer to Peer Community Based
Doula Training
We believe that birth is a profound life event that belongs to the community. For generations, birthing people have been supported by their peers—neighbors, sisters, friends, and community elders. Our Peer-to-Peer Based Doula Training honors this ancient tradition while equipping you with the modern knowledge and skills needed to safely and compassionately support growing families today.
We believe that the most effective support often comes from those who share your lived experiences, language, and culture.
What is Peer-to-Peer Training?
Traditional education models often rely on a top-down approach, but our cooperative model is different. “Peer-to-Peer” means we recognize that every participant brings valuable wisdom to the circle.
Our training is rooted in mutual learning, shared power, and community empowerment. We focus on building a network of skilled birth workers who learn from one another, support each other, and go on to serve the communities they know and love. By breaking down the barriers to becoming a doula, we aim to make high-quality birth support accessible to everyone.
