Picturing the Latino/e Perinatal Journey in Dane County
Nearly three years ago, with funding from the Wisconsin Partnership Program, Roots4Change Coop teamed up with Public Health Madison & Dane County and the School of Human Ecology to launch Jardines de Espacios. This year, we brought together research, art, and personal experiences through photovoice as we shed light on the health gaps experienced by Latina mothers and children in Dane County. Thanks to support from NEO Philanthropy, we will share our findings through a photovoice exhibition, featured alongside a week of engaging events for our community, healthcare providers, and students starting September 12, 2026 through September 19, 2026.

Our members are all trained Community Health Workers and Doulas offering wellbeing services, especially in the area of Maternal and Child Health.
Our Services
We provide Doula Services to Latinx and Indigenous families in our community, we also offer Health Education Classes, Lactation Assistance, Yoga, and Consulting Services.
